Bracknell Roofing on the move

Bracknell Roofing has relocated two of its eight UK offices to new premises as it gears up for further growth.

The company was keen to retain its bases in Milton Keynes and Ringmer in East Sussex and has been able to secure better offices in the same area to ensure that it retains a local presence, as this is an essential focal point for securing and managing projects in the surrounding areas.

Its South Midlands, London & Anglia branch has moved to Simpson Road in Milton Keynes, whilst its South East branch has moved to The Old Bank in Ringmer.

Simon Smith, divisional director of the company, which is the UK’s largest roof, slating and tiling contractor, said that Bracknell Roofing had outgrown the two former branches.

“Our offices in Ringmer and Milton Keynes are busy hubs for our teams, running lots of projects simultaneously – and we have a regional contracts director and teams of contracts managers and assistant contracts managers in and out every day, so we needed more accommodating spaces for them all,” said Simon.

“We have been lucky to find new premises that were local to where our old offices were, which meant we were able to keep the disruption of moving to a minimum and our ability to manage all ongoing projects wasn’t affected.”

Both branches are supported by the team at Bracknell Roofing’s Burton upon Trent head office, which is a central hub for technical support, procurement, health & safety, compliance to standards and finance.

The moves in Ringmer and Milton Keynes come six months after the company opened a new Lancashire branch in Chorley – and a year after relocating its Yorkshire branch from Bradford to Leeds.

Mr Smith added that the new offices will be the platform for continued growth, as the company aims to increase its market share in the domestic sector and aims to grow its share in the domestic and commercial newbuild and refurbishment sectors.

“Bracknell Roofing is going from strength to strength; in the last 12 months alone, we’ve made significant positive changes to half of our branch network to ensure that we continue to be at the forefront of providing local operations in some of the busiest areas for housebuilding in the UK,” he said.

“Our branch network will continue to be the strength of the business because we have dedicated teams who build strong relationships with a range of firms involved in construction and housebuilding projects in their areas, and they can fulfil the requirements of any size of project, from a few dozen to a few thousand houses – and everything in between.”

Bracknell Roofing also has a North West branch in Warrington, a Midlands branch in Burton upon Trent, a Thames Valley branch in Beenham (Berkshire) and a South Coast branch in Southampton.
