Scottish roofing and cladding contractor Curtis Moore has been named TeamKal Contractor of the Year 2017.

The award was given at the TeamKal Conference in Chester on Thursday, June 8. Curtis Moore also picked up Best Refurbishment Project in Kalzip for its work at Odeon Cinema, Glasgow Quay.

This was a challenging project as the site was a live environment, with businesses and services remaining open through the duration of the works. Curtis Moore worked as principal contractor on this project, however another contractor also carried out works on site throughout the duration of the project.

Additionally, Curtis Moore was recognised with a Highly Commended award for its contribution to Brodick Ferry Terminal. Appointed by contractors George Leslie, Curtis Moore was deployed on site in June 2016 to complete the Kalzip standing seam roofing and the rainscreen cladding works to the Arran ferry terminal.

Andrew Devlin, Curtis Moore’s managing director, commented: “Thank you to all at TeamKal for recognising and awarding our efforts and to the Curtis Moore team for all their hard work over the years. It truly is a team effort.”
