Reynaers has partnered with the Society of Façade Engineering (SFE) to support FAÇADE2015, the international awards for façade engineering excellence.

The three categories for architects and contractors for this year’s awards, which are open now and free to enter, are:

  • Façade of the Year 2015 – New build
  • Façade of the Year 2015 – Refurbishment
  • Outstanding Façade Innovation

Paul Duffy, sales director at Reynaers, said: “Reynaers is a keen supporter of innovation in the construction industry and these awards will recognise the very best people involved in the design and implementation of building façades.

“We look forward to seeing outstanding designs across each of the three categories.”

Graham Hackley, co-owner and director of Century Facades and one of the event’s organisers, said: “We are incredibly happy that Reynaers has supported us to highlight the skills and vision that are creating the best of these projects.

“Some of the world’s most treasured structures are appreciated because of the key element of their façades and we are seeking to reward those who are at the cutting-edge of building design.”

Any façade contract practically complete between December 31 2012 and December 31 2014 and not previously entered in an SFE competition is eligible for the awards, which will be presented at the Glass Supper conference and dinner at the Sky Garden – also known as the Walkie Talkie – in London on December 3.

The awards will be presented by Chris Macey, chairman of the competition and chief executive of Wintech Group, and incoming president of RIBA, Jane Duncan.

Entries for the competition must be received by November 2
