Lucideon Lucideon is preparing to host a free construction forum, ‘New Construction Products and the Ways to Market’ on Friday November 6 at its headquarters in Stoke-on-Trent.

The international materials and technology company says the forum will bring together experts from the BBA, BSI, National House-Building Council, LABC and Lucideon’s own construction team to discuss the latest industry challenges and opportunities. The event will focus on how the sector can meet demands, including new housing, Government sustainability targets, reducing construction costs and developing new and innovative products and processes.

Steve Newman, senior product manager at Lucideon, said: “The construction sector is under a lot of pressure to meet ambitious targets across the board; this is leading to a wave of innovative solutions to help meet these demands.

“The forum will give the opportunity to hear first-hand from some of the industry’s leading authorities about the opportunities available to the construction industry and ways for new products to be developed and taken to market to meet future needs.”

Lucideon provides testing and consultative services to a wide range of organisations within the construction sector, with representatives sitting on a number of regulatory bodies within the construction industry.
