Voting opens for Britain’s Best Cafe competition

Voting has officially opened in the search to find Britain’s Best Cafe 2017 and this year’s hopeful entrants are calling on the public to support them in their quest to win the coveted title.

Organised by SIG Roofing and supported by its 120+ branches, with RCI as the official media supporter, so far more than 350 cafes have signed up and the number continues to rise.

Over the next three months, SIG Roofing will be supporting the cafes in their bid to win the competition and their branches will be displaying posters and ballot boxes where customers and members of the public can vote.

Competition is already heating up, with lots of interaction on social media. Visit www.facebook.com/britainsbestcafe or @britainsbestcaf on Twitter and you’ll see cafes posting pictures with their customers using their Britain’s Best Cafe selfie frames. Why not pop into your local cafe or SIG Roofing branch and get involved!

SIG Roofing Marketing manager Janine Brady commented: “Our branches know how much their customers enjoy spending time in their favourite cafes, which is why we’re doing all we can to support both their and their customers’ favourites.

“We’d also like to give a special mention to RCI, whose coverage and support is once again helping Britain’s Best Cafe to be a great success.”

It’s anticipated that Britain’s Best Cafe will match and even surpass last year’s total of over 20,000 votes.

When voting closes at the end of September, 14 regional winners will be invited to a presentation lunch in London where the national titleholder will be announced and collect their prize of a holiday to Cuba.

Every vote counts and anyone wishing to vote for their local favourite cafe can visit their nearest SIG Roofing branch or vote online at www.britainsbestcafe.co.uk.
