The National House Building Council (NHBC) has appointed Christine Smith as its new head of claims.
Ms. Smith has worked for NHBC for over 20 years, undertaking a number of roles in claims, operations and business development, most recently acting as head of consulting services and a director of NHBC Services.
Mike Quinton, NHBC’s chief executive said: “We are delighted to announce the appointment of Christine Smith to head of claims. She has played a fundamental role within NHBC for a number of years across the business, but her in-depth knowledge of claims, including over ten years in claims management, will bring a wealth of experience to this position.”
Commenting on her new appointment, Ms. Smith said: “Much of NHBC’s reputation is built around the performance of our claims team, and I am excited to be part of this once again. Housing remains a key issue as the industry looks to meet the continuing demand for quality new homes that the country desperately needs.”
