Marketing team strengthened

Hambleside Danelaw has announced that it has relocated its marketing department from Waterlooville to its head office in Daventry. The company has also appointed Ann Leeson as marketing manager and Keely Warren as marketing executive to manage all marketing communications.

With over 18 years’ experience in the construction industry, Ann has developed a comprehensive understanding which Hambleside Danelaw says allows her to recognise the key issues and trends in the market. Ann will be responsible for developing and implementing Hambleside Danelaw’s marketing plans.

Having previously worked in a regional marketing team for one of the UK’s leading housebuilders, Keely will work alongside Ann to help support her with the company’s marketing activity. Keely will also be responsible for the implementation of the company’s digital strategy to ensure that it has the platforms needed to communicate directly with its customers and become more active on social media.

Sales and marketing director, Ian Weakford, said: “Ann and Keely’s introduction has come at a crucial point in the company’s development. Due to the competitive market, the appointments will help us to raise awareness of our Danelaw, Zenon and Dryseal brands. Online and social media platforms are fast becoming the most effective ways of communicating directly with customers, so by expanding our marketing team we believe that we have the skills needed to effectively communicate with our customers through various channels.”

Adding to the sentiment expressed by Ian, Ann said: “Having worked in the roofing industry for many years, I am delighted to join Hambleside Danelaw. The investment that has been put into restructuring its marketing department will enable me to develop new routes to market, push brand awareness and ensure that Hambleside Danelaw remains one of the UK’s leading manufacturers of roofing products.”
