Returning managing director marks period of growth

Miller Pattison has appointed Mike Dyson as its new managing director with a remit to pursue its growth plan.

Mr. Dyson previously held the same position at the Sheffield-based home insulation specialist – formerly known as SIG Energy Management – for more than 15 years, during which time he took the company from a small business to achieving revenues in excess of œ80m.

Commenting on his appointment, Mr. Dyson said:
“Miller Pattison is a business I know intimately. It has massive growth potential and I am delighted to be taking on the role of managing director once more.

“We intend to concentrate initially on core activities and ensure that our cost base is fully tailored to our ongoing needs. This will ensure that we are in a strong position over the next 12 months to take advantage of opportunities in the wider market as well as looking at product development.”

Mike will be working with operations director Jim Stephenson to drive the business forward and pursue its growth agenda.

Mr. Stephenson said:
“Following an unsettled time in the insulation sector, we are now ready to take advantage of new opportunities in the industry. Mike has unrivalled experience in the energy sector and specifically the insulation market place. I am really excited about working alongside him to help realise Miller Pattison’s potential.”
