It is with regret that due to the ongoing crisis surrounding COVID-19, Mark Allen Group has made the decision to postpone the inaugural Façades Awards UK to February 11, 2021, so that the remarkable achievements in the industry can be rewarded and celebrated at a more appropriate time.
An event brought to you by the publisher of RCI magazine, the Façade Awards UK, which rewards excellence in façade design, will now take place at The Park Royal hotel in Warrington on February 11.
Nichola Farrugia, editor of RCI magazine, said: “As we find ourselves in uncharted waters and are facing significant uncertainty in life generally, we believe it is in the best interests of all our guests to postpone the Façades Awards UK. Your health and safety, and that of our own teams, is our number one priority and there is just far too much risk associated with holding a public event at this moment in time.
“With the UK likely to have some disruptive social distancing measures in place for at least the rest of the year, our plan at Mark Allen Group is that by postponing the awards, we will give our industry the time it needs and create the ideal opportunity for us all to celebrate our achievements together next year.
“This was a difficult decision to make, but we are now able to switch our sights to the new February 2021 date, and get ready to celebrate and reward all the fantastic contributions you and your companies are making to the sector.”
All entries received are, of course, still valid for the judging panel later this year.
