Eliminate strapping to hold spacers and bearers with RoRo StretchPack

Now, you can eliminate the strapping process from your packaging line when using a RoRo StretchPack® packaging machine.

This machine enables the packaging of goods in a tubular stretch hood film, allowing spacers and bearers to be held in place without strapping.

Instead, the spacers are included inside the stretch hood film. The tension forces of the stretch hood film ensure tight and smooth packaging and hold the spacers against the bottom of the packed products. This solution is suitable for products with friction between the product layers, preventing slipping, such as plasterboards, rigid foam panels, mineral wool, or similar materials.

Reduced cost of consumables
By utilizing RoRo StretchPack® packaging to hold spacers, you save the investment and maintenance on strapping equipment. You will also reduce your cost of consumables as there is no need for straps. The film consumption will typically also be reduced due to tight single-layer packaging using stretch hood film.

This packaging solution also eliminates the risk of strapping marks on your products and thereby prevents the devaluation of the products. For end-users, it is easier to unpack the goods without strapping, and it eases handling packaging for recycling with only one type of packaging material (film).

The RoRo StretchPack® packaging machines is developed by Tentoma A/S, and provides 6-sided and 100% waterproof packaging in one single operation.
