One of the UK’s leading reflective multi-foil insulation manufacturers, YBS Insulation, has launched a new product in a bid to help tackle rising energy prices this winter.
Made at their plant in Sheffield, SuperQuilt Lite is a thermally efficient, reflective multi-foil insulation solution – suitable for floor, wall and roof applications.
Offering up to 76% reduction in heat loss, SuperQuilt Lite offers flexible and versatile properties, saving time and cost during installation. Comprised of nine high quality flexible layers and only 32mm thick, SuperQuilt Lite delivers high thermal performance, achieved by its unique layer configuration and thin profile thickness – which also saves on cost.
The reflective outer layers of the product increase the overall thermal performance once installed, with an R-Value of up to 2.10 m²K/W – equivalent of up to 90mm of mineral wool. Once taped and sealed, it also works as a vapour control layer to reduce the risk of condensation.
