A hotel set between the Moors and the Dales is the November venue for the roving LABC technical team when it shares its professional expertise with members of the construction industry.
As always, Actis will be among the speakers at the monthly roadshow whose delegates will be drawn from builders, designers and building control teams in the area.
The free session, on Wednesday November 6, will see regional specification manager Amaret Chahal run a module on how to address the performance gap with reflective insulation. She will be joined at the event by national specification manager Dan Anson-Hart.
Other slots will offer insight into drainage and water management, and the latest news on building regs and compliance issues.
The seminar, at The Burn Hall Hotel, Tollerton Road, Huby, York, YO61 1JB, is worth three and a half hours of CPD training.
Doors open at 8am, with a free breakfast on arrival. The action will be completed by 12.30pm.
