Lords Builders Merchants, Advance Roofing’s parent company, has opened a new branch in Bury St Edmunds. It opened on 2 March and hosted a spring fair opening event on 27 March.
The site on Blenheim Industrial Estate will host both Advanced Roofing and Lords Builders Merchants with each business having its own entrance.
Dave Porter, branch manager for Advance Roofing, said: “Having a roofing merchant with a builder’s merchant on the same site allows us to offer a more comprehensive solution for local construction businesses with experts providing advise across the whole build envelope. Our 13 staff across the two businesses have more than a century of experience between them.”
The company stated that roofers or builders can come into either branch for advice and product. They can also place an order over the phone or email for next day delivery to site. The business has two 26-ton trucks with cranes for offloading and a 3.5 tonne vehicle for smaller deliveries.
