Avonside Group Services has announced that it has purchased Mid-Kent Roofing, the Maidstone-based operation, for an undisclosed sum
Mid-Kent Roofing has been successfully run by Rob and Lisa Smith. The business excels at offering high-standard roofing, flat roofing and lead work services at competitive prices across the south east region.
The company prides itself on offering a complete ‘one-stop-shop’ service, employing a team of highly trained and skilled tradespeople, including bricklayers, scaffolders, carpenters and painters and decorators to cater for all project requirements.
Announcing the acquisition, Tony Burke, Avonside Group’s managing director, said: “This acquisition is a strategically important one for our group, as it gives us an established and credible presence in the Kent catchment, which has been an objective of ours for some time.”
He continued: “Rob and Lisa Smith and their team have an outstanding reputation based upon consistent delivery to the highest standards, their ethos and commitment offer an excellent match with core Avonside values.”
In response, Rob said: “This development is the obvious next step for the business and positions us for further growth and development with our key partner clients.”
