The British Board of Agrément (BBA) has launched a search function that provides users with the latest certification data regarding construction products, systems and certified installers.
Construction industry professionals can use the new function MyBBA to search 16 categories, including Agrément certificates, BIM Assurance, the Steel Reinforcement Scheme and UK Technical Assessments for easy access to information they require.
The initiative is a direct result of industry feedback about the visibility of BBA certificate validity, the ability to cross-reference approved installer certification and the potential of searching by product type, location and producer.
Additional features will be added to MyBBA as it develops with the search engine providing users with valuable data at their fingertips and becoming a business intelligence tool that supports and connects the construction market.
Katy Roberts, head of marketing at the BBA, said: “We understand that we serve a wide spectrum of users who have varying requirements in order to fulfil their individual roles within the supply chain. This means that the data we make available needs to provide a solution for their needs.
“The introduction of MyBBA is the next step towards accessible certification data and industry connectivity. It is a first step in improving the way users search for – and access – certificate information for product, systems and now installers.”
