Chandlers Building Supplies has been announced as a finalist in this year’s Sussex Business Awards.
Chandlers Building Supplies, with four of its 13 outlets in Sussex: Lewes, Brighton, Ringmer and Petworth, is in the Company of the Year category along with many of the biggest and best players in the county.
This comes on the back of being recognised with a Sussex Super Growth Award earlier in the year and also being listed in the London Stock Exchange group list as one of the country’s ‘Top 1,000 companies to Inspire Britain’ – which is said to celebrate the fastest-growing and most dynamic small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the UK. In 2018, its 25th year, Chandlers Building Supplies also reports an increase in turnover of just under 20% on the previous financial year, with an 18% growth in net profit and has grown its staff numbers by a third over the last year.
