Cafes begin the final push for votes in Britain’s Best Cafe competition

Organised by SIG Roofing and supported by its 120+ branches, this year’s Britain’s Best Cafe competition has seen a record 500+ cafes vying for the sought-after title and with thousands of votes already made, it is anticipated that the competition will be a great success.

With the coveted national title and a ‘once in a lifetime’ trip to Cuba on the line, cafes across the UK are currently doing all they can to secure the final votes that will see them through the home stretch and potentially crowned as champion.

This year there has been great social media involvement with cafes up and down the country posting pictures on Facebook and Twitter showing customers and staff getting into the spirt of the competition.

SIG Roofing marketing manager, Janine Brady, commented: “It’s been great to see how the cafes are having so much fun with their customers using the selfie frames. The cafes work really hard every day to deliver great food and service, so being able to give them a shout out on social media is a great way to recognise some of the nation’s unsung heroes. The cafes are stepping up their efforts to get their local communities to vote for them in the hope that they will be crowned Britain’s Best Cafe 2017. Customers can show their appreciation for all the good food and service they receive all year by voting for their favourite cafe in the competition.”

The 14 regional winners will be announced mid-October and will be invited to a presentation lunch in London where the national titleholder will be announced. The winner will then collect their prize of a holiday to the Caribbean island of Cuba.

Voting closes on Friday, September 29, and votes can be cast at your nearest SIG Roofing branch, by visiting the cafe or online at www.britainsbestcafe.co.uk
