Catnic France, the manufacturer of steel construction products, has recently opened a new manufacturing facility near Paris in a strategic move to support its expansion and customer focus and create jobs in the region.
The implementation of the production unit is part of Catnic’s wider strategy to support the growth of the business and continued investment into the territory. This has included several facets to enhance customer service and meet client needs.
Catnic’s French office was established over seven years ago. Since then, the company has continued to build upon its successes and having experienced positive results, has expanded its sales team. Catnic is now implementing a phased strategy across the French business to align the business with the changing needs of the market and support its growth.
Implementation of the new manufacturing unit began in the south east of Paris region in December 2019. This follows Catnic’s recent relocation of its French sales office to Rouen, providing better facilities and organisation, as well as the opportunity to upgrade its IT systems to create more efficient processes.
The new production facility allows Catnic to manufacture its products as ‘Made in France’, tailored to the needs of the French market and providing the opportunity to quickly react to production demands.
The ability to release new products that are specifically designed for the French market provides Catnic with the capacity to implement the next phase of incorporating a new approach for engaging with new and existing customers.
Maxime Roussel, general manager, Catnic France, said: “This is an exciting time for Catnic France. We are delighted that our results have enabled us to grow, but aware that we must embrace expansion in an intelligent and methodical manner. Our office relocation has allowed us to improve our processes and facilities, which means we can better service our customers. Our team is now positioned to adopt a more targeted and tailored approach, to ensure that our customers’ needs can be met quickly and effectively. We are proud that the investment in our new manufacturing facility underpins the ability to achieve this and demonstrates our commitment to the region and the creation of jobs.”
