Chesterfelt Group is currently celebrating 40 years as a UK manufacturer. The bituminous roofing manufacturer was formed in 1978 in Chesterfield, north east Derbyshire and remains an independently owned company.
The company chose its location for its access to the national road networks, maintaining high customer service levels to a wide geographical area.
The manufacturer produces a comprehensive range of bituminous waterproofing products to the roofing industry, and has supplied a large number of new and refurbished projects including local authorities, schools, industrial and retail premises, together with supplying product stockists, such as roofing and builders’ merchants nationwide.
Chesterfelt’s commitment to quality is demonstrated by its ISO 9001/9002 certification and CE product marking approval. It employ’s local people, some of who have exceeded 25 years’ service, including former miners, steel, glass, pottery and engineering workers.
