The Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) is hosting a series of free open day recruitment events at its National Construction Colleges (NCC) in Bircham Newton, Norfolk, and Erith, London on both 28 November and 30 November.
The CITB noted that there are permanent, full-time positions available and they will support attendees to achieve the Level 3 Award in Education and Training (AET) for Instructor positions and the Training, Assessment and Quality Assurance (TAQA) qualification for Assessor positions. These will be free of charge, and you will be trained on the job and will take six to nine months to complete.
There are several other vacancies too, including Lecturers in Leadership and Management, Health and Safety, and English and Maths, as well as Curriculum Management roles.
CITB has invested nearly £30m in its NCC sites to improve and develop the experience for learners and is continuing to build on these improvements. The changes have resulted in learner retention rates increasing to over 80%, with qualification achievement rates significantly above the sector average.
