The NFRC has launched an industry technical partnership with EJOT UK to help drive value for its members including the production of a range of publications.
As an industry technical partner, EJOT UK sponsored the NFRC’s latest guidance document entitled: “Use of profiled sheet for roof and wall cladding on buildings BS 5427: 2016+A1:2017,” which was published in March 2019. The publication was written by members of the NFRC sheeting and cladding technical committee to help contractor members understand the main changes to the code of practice. It will soon be available to non-members.
EJOT will also sponsor the NFRC’s forthcoming updated “Profiled Sheet Roofing and Cladding – The Guide to Design and Best Practice,” commonly known as the “Blue Book.”
Amanda Brackey, head of marketing and Communications at the NFRC, said: “I’m delighted that EJOT UK, which is committed to sharing best practice, has become our Industry Technical Partner. The NFRC, with the help of its technical committees, has always been at the forefront of publishing technical guidance, and we are undergoing a revamp of our publication designs, in order to make them easier to use. EJOT UK’s support is valuable in helping us to achieve this.”
Robert Hardstaff, EJOT UK’s managing director, added: “EJOT UK shares the NFRC’s philosophy of quality and excellence within the construction industry. We are therefore delighted to be the NFRC technical partner, supporting the publication of relevant technical guidance documents, which are verified by NFRC technical committees for the benefit of all members, and the industry as a whole.”
