The inaugural Façade Awards UK, an event brought to you by the publisher of RCI magazine, that rewards excellence in façade design and celebrates the people and teams behind them, has been postponed, following the wake of the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.
We know how important these awards are to you, your teams, your business and the wider industry. And we know how much work goes into pulling an entry together. With that in mind, we want to give you something to look forward to and to celebrate later this year, and so we are rescheduling the Façade Awards UK from May 21, 2020 to the new date of November 12, 2020, at The Park Royal hotel in Warrington, Cheshire.
Nichola Farrugia, editor of RCI magazine, said: “This was not an easy decision to take. We have been building momentum to this event for a very long time, and there were many people looking forward to what was going to be an outstanding occasion.
“However, the health and wellbeing of our guests was always paramount. Given the uncertainty surrounding the spread of the virus, and the risk it poses to some members of the population, we felt there was no real option but to postpone.
“We remain committed to delivering what will be a truly remarkable event later in the year. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the sponsors behind the awards for their support in moving the date to later in the year.”
To ensure that you’ve had time to adjust to new ways of working and still submit your awards entries without penalty, we have extended the entry deadline to Thursday April 30, 2020.
