Fairalls team cycles for Air Ambulance

Builders’ merchants Fairalls has taken part in the 247 Vital Cycle campaign to help raise money for Air Ambulance Kent Surrey Sussex.

The Fairalls team at the Godstone branch cycled 247 miles to help the charity raise £20,000.

Thomas Rawlinson of the Godstone branch, said: “The bike arrived and we had it set-up at our shop entrance so that customers could see our efforts. It was hard work, but we did it. It was a great team effort and we cycled our way to over £2,000. We are very grateful for all the donations for the charity either in store or via our justgiving page.

“KSS Air Ambulance has been Fairalls’ chosen charity for many years and we’re proud to continue that support by raising this money and also as a main sponsor of 247 Vital Cycle campaign.”

Helene Poursain, director of fundraising for the charity, added: “We rely on the generosity of our fundraisers to be able to deliver our vital service.”
