The Fixfast Group has acquired OSC Sales, a specialist construction fixings provider, and its brand portfolio Carpenters Mate, Orbix, and Optimaxx.
The company described it as a “strategic, values-led acquisition built on a strong relationship between both businesses’ owners, to drive further innovation and growth”.
For the Fixfast Group, adding this trade merchant division strengthened its platform for long-term investment and brings valuable insight into construction fasteners across the entire market, it added.
For OSC Sales, joining the Fixfast Group provided added ability to manufacture in the UK, bringing about a supply chain resilience that is unique in the market, a statement added.
As part of the acquisition, OSC shareholders will become shareholders in the wider Fixfast group.
OSC Brands will be continuing their exclusive distributor-based route to market, and will not be selling direct to consumers.
