Specialist flat roofing supplier Flex-R has promoted its north-eastern business development manager Joe Ellis to a new position within the business as national key account manager, with immediate effect.
Joe joined the Flex-R business in March 2022 as the sales representative in the north of England. He brought extensive roofing experience from the previous eight years, and during his time at Flex-R has built strong relationships with customers and colleagues alike, while also bringing in many new customers.
Over the past two years, he has focused on developing his skillset in key account management, the company said.
“I’m confident this is the right move for the business and our customers, and I strongly believe Joe will excel in this new role,” said Flex-R sales director Barry Shorrock. “Joe has built strong, supportive relationships with his customers in the north and, more recently, the Northeast over the past four years, and he is now extending this to help develop and grow merchant customers nationwide. I am looking forward to working closely with Joe over the coming months, and I know everyone in the Flex-R team will support him in further expanding our EPDM roofing business.”
