Learn about insulation for rainscreen and masonry façades with Isover at the RIBA CPD roadshow

Throughout 2019, Isover will be presenting its new ‘stone mineral wool insulation for rainscreen and masonry façades’ CPD as part of the RIBA CPD Roadshow, at various locations across the country.

Providing those employed in the construction industry with the opportunity to gain up-to-date information, enhance their professional skills and earn valuable CPD credits, the roadshow offers RIBA-approved CPD sessions on a wide-range of subjects.

Isover will be presenting its new ‘stone mineral wool insulation for rainscreen and masonry façades’ CPD, when the roadshow visits Manchester and London on various dates throughout 2019. Aimed at specifiers and architects, the one-hour session will provide participants with an understanding of ventilated façades and masonry overcladding and how they both relate to the structure of the building, while also discussing fire regulations and the insulation solutions available for both applications.

Chris Roughneen, technical manager at Isover, commented: “With ventilated façades and masonry overcladding systems becoming more common in the construction industry, it is vital that the correct insulation is being specified, both to ensure the building complies with current fire regulations and to enhance its overall thermal and acoustic performance. With this in mind, we chose to create our new CPD to educate the industry, sharing our knowledge of insulation applications to help guide specifiers and architects on their next project, in order to provide the building’s occupants with a safe and comfortable environment in which to live, work and study.

“We have received excellent feedback from previous courses, praising the standard of the content delivered, and so we are delighted to now also be presenting our new CPD seminar as a part of the RIBA CPD Roadshow.”

Attendance at the RIBA Roadshow is free, with places available on a ‘first come first served’ basis and participants can book up to five of the one-hour sessions offered throughout the day.

The next Isover course dates available are as follows:

  • 5th September 2019 (Manchester)
  • 17th October 2019 (London)
  • 28th November 2019 (London)
