The LHC Procurement Group (LHCPG) has launched the Northern Procurement Alliance (NPA).
Clients spanning the public sector, including local authority housing teams, housing associations, education estates teams and local NHS Trusts, can use NPA’s construction and building maintenance frameworks to access pre-vetted contractors with the qualifications and resources to deliver everything from consultancy to retrofit works.
NPA is being led by regional director Faye Whiteoak, a qualified architect whose career in housing spans more than 20 years.
Faye said: “LHCPG has a strong commitment to the North. This new business unit will help to accelerate the group’s impact in the region and I am thrilled to be leading the charge in helping to deliver superior technical support via NPA.
“We are continuing to grow our highly valued working relationships across the North and are focusing on using our Gold Standard-verified procurement services to achieve better homes, better buildings and better communities in the regions.”
Clive Feeney, LHCPG’s CEO, added: “NPA will mirror the successes of our regional procurement models in Scotland and Wales, ensuring that the north of England benefits from tailored, community-driven procurement solutions.
“NPA’s relationships with public sector clients in the North will demonstrate how a well-structured procurement strategy can drive regional success, in alignment with the government’s broader ambitions for English Devolution.”
To spread the message about NPA, Faye and colleagues will be attending several industry events throughout the year, starting with Procurex England 2025 in Liverpool in May, a one-day event designed for public sector procurement professionals.
At stand 44, the team will be hosting virtual reality sessions focused on how the organisation’s Retrofit and Decarbonisation (N9) framework, launched earlier this year, can be used to improve energy efficiency and reduce carbon emissions from social housing, healthcare, education and other public buildings. The VR sessions are bookable via Eventbrite.
Exact details are still to be confirmed but experts from LHCPG’s dedicated technical procurement team will be delivering talks throughout the day.
In June, NPA representatives will also be attending Housing 2025, at stand D4)=, in Manchester, followed by the Chartered Institute of Housing and National Housing Federation’s Housing Community Summit in Liverpool from 8 to 9 September, where they will have an NPA-branded bus opposite the main stage.
