New memoirs of the construction trade published

This Construction Life is the story of an Irishman born into the world of construction, living on the edge and making lemonade when things go wrong!

The author, Patrick Butler is a charismatic Irishman born in 1974 in Limerick City and now living in London. He is qualified civil engineer and highly experienced construction professional. Patrick was born into a construction family and walked through the gates of the site at the tender age of 14. He did his apprenticeship behind the cement mixer on the family’s sites. His world and life were shaped from that moment forward. He qualified in civil engineering and has since built stadiums, high end homes, high-rise blocks and refurbished listed buildings in London for wealthy clients. He has also worked internationally.

Patrick has collated his experiences, squeezed the lemons thrown at him and made lemonade. A proud Irishman that has been to the University of Life. He describes himself as a man that has seen highs and lows and met some interesting and funny characters along the way…

Patrick said: “I wrote the book to humour, entertain, and educate the reader about construction past and present, characters and life experiences.”
