A new network is set to launch on Monday 2 November, which has been set up to support the sprayfoam insulation industry by creating additional business opportunities for sprayfoam insulation companies that operate in the residential, public sector, commercial and industrial markets.
The Sprayfoam Insulation Contractors Network will be run by Neil Marshall, the former chief executive officer of the National insulation Association.
Commenting on the new network, Neil said: “With the inclusion of pitched roof sprayfoam insulation in the government’s new Green Homes Grant scheme, there are tremendous opportunities for sprayfoam contractors. However, sprayfoam companies are not used to operating in the grant funded market, and therefore, I will be providing advice and guidance to these companies through the network.
“Unlike some trade associations which charge fees to be members, I will not be charging a fee for the support, and I am completely independent with no vested commercial interest.”
Anthony Harrison, managing director of the ECO Roof and Wall Company, which is a Trustmark accredited pitched roof sprayfoam insulation company, added: “Neil has been instrumental in getting pitched roof insulation included in the Green Homes Grant scheme, and has provided invaluable support to my company in gearing up for the scheme. I am pleased to be part of the new network and would encourage other sprayfoam insulation companies to join too.”
