The winners of this year’s Pitched Roofing Awards, presented by RCI magazine, were announced at a ceremony hosted by comedian, impressionist and actor, Luke Kempner at the Midland Hotel in Manchester on December 5.
Twelve champions and four highly commended winners were crowned at the ceremony, which was attended by more than 250 people from across the sector. Winners were recognised for quality, professionalism and the finest workmanship, and were judged by a panel of independent industry experts, who had their work cut out when deciding which entries had that extra special something that was worthy of an award.
Commenting on the Pitched Roofing Awards and its winners and highly commended, Nichola Farrugia, editor of RCI, said: “The Pitched Roofing Awards celebrate the very best companies, projects and achievements of the industry, and winning an award is a well-recognised badge of excellence amongst clients and peers.
“Each year the awards attract the entry of exemplary projects from leading contractors and manufacturers, across 12 hotly-contested categories. The winners and highly commended reflect the growing strength, diversity and skills of the sector, so everyone involved should be proud of their success!
“The Pitched Roofing Awards team would like to offer their sincere congratulations to the winners and highly commended for their hard work over the past year. We would also like to congratulate the runners up of each category for the work they put in, and for coming so close to winning.
“Finally, we would like to thank all of our sponsors for supporting the event and congratulate those who made the final. The entries we received this year were of an exceptionally high standard, setting the bar even higher for next year.”
