Pitched Roofing Awards 2022: The winners are…

The Pitched Roofing Awards 2022 returned with more than 250 guests celebrating the excellence and innovation in pitched roofing at The Midland Hotel in Manchester last Friday.

Now in its fifth year, the awards, founded by Roofing, Cladding & Insulation (RCI) magazine, are proudly independent, and celebrate the achievements of roofing contractors, manufacturers and suppliers who demonstrate an outstanding level of technical ability and an excellent quality of workmanship.

Ten champions were crowned at the well-attended ceremony on Friday 25 November, which was hosted by Sky Sports reporter and Soccer Sunday presenter Bianca Westwood.

All the finalists announced on the day were judged by a panel of industry experts, who assessed each entry solely on the merits in front of them. A huge thank you to Kay Rose, Stewart Rowles, John Mercer, Chris Miller and Michael Daines, for carving out time to assess entries and agree our shortlist and winners. We couldn’t have done this without you.

“Congratulations to all our winners and highly commended entries,” said Gabriel Day, editor of RCI. “Your hard work and dedication have shown that, despite challenging circumstances, excellence can be attained.

“Every submission we received for the 2022 awards demonstrates the effort teams from across the roofing industry have put in to grow and put their organisation in the frame.

“While not everyone was able to win a trophy, you should all be immensely proud of your achievements. Thank you for sharing your projects with us.”
