Pitched Roofing Awards winners announced

The Pitched Roofing Awards has returned with more than 250 guests celebrating the excellence and innovation in pitched roofing at The Midland Hotel in Manchester last Friday [24 November].

Now in its sixth year, the awards, founded by Roofing, Cladding & Insulation (RCI) magazine celebrate the achievements of roofing contractors, manufacturers and suppliers who demonstrate an outstanding level of technical ability and an excellent quality of workmanship. We also took the initiative to celebrate innovation coming out of the industry with our Most Innovative Product and award and addressed sustainability with out Sustainable Project of the Year award.

Eleven champions were crowned at the well-attended ceremony on Friday 24 November, which was hosted by TV personality and professional hockey player Sam Quek.

All the finalists announced on the day were judged by a panel of industry experts, who assessed each entry solely on the merits in front of them. A huge thank you to Stewart Rowles, Paul Hattee, Chris Miller, Graeme Millar and Keith Roberts for carving out time to assess entries and agree our shortlist and winners. We couldn’t have done this without you.

“Congratulations to all our winners and highly commended entries,” said Gabriel Day, editor of RCI. “Every submission we received for the 2023 awards demonstrates the effort teams from across the roofing industry have put in to grow and put their organisation in the frame.

“While not everyone was able to win a trophy, you should all be immensely proud of your achievements. Thank you for sharing your projects with us.”
