Specialist building envelope contractor, Prater has invested in a new, larger office in Quinton, Birmingham to strengthen its presence in the region and provide improved support to major projects across the Midlands.
Located just five miles from Birmingham city centre and with easy access to transport links and the M5 motorway, the new office is said to be ideally placed for access to the entire region. Prater’s design and estimating teams in Birmingham will move from the current shared office accommodation to the newly purchased, self-contained facility. The modern two storey building in Quinton Business Park provides space for the team to grow as required to fulfil the needs of new and existing clients, as the contractor looks to expand its operations locally.
While still centrally managed from its headquarters in Surrey, the opening of the new office represents the latest step in Prater’s ongoing strategy to develop the strength and capabilities of its regional offices. It follows the creation of a new permanent office in Manchester and upgrades to its off-site manufacturing facilities in 2018.
Gavin Hamblett, managing director at Prater said: “The opening of the new Birmingham office is an exciting step and part of our long-term commitment and investment in the region. The success of our business, demonstrated by our constantly evolving project portfolio, is centred on the ability to deliver the right resources and expertise on each and every contract. Building on the strength of our local teams helps us do this and allows us to work closer with our clients and supply chain at every stage of the process.”
