Ravatherm UK, manufacturer of POLYFOAM XPS insulation, has announced it is supporting the Liquid Roofing and Waterproofing Association (LRWA) Awards and Gala Dinner 2018.
Ravatherm UK will sponsor the newly-introduced category at the awards for 2018 – the ‘Liquid Roofing Project of the Year in a Buried Application’ which applies to inverted or green roof applications.
Karen Everitt, marketing manager at Ravatherm UK, said: “As guests at the 2017 LRWA awards, we were impressed by the standard of the projects and workmanship on show, alongside the fantastic turnout for the inaugural event.
“We are keen to show our support for this year’s awards and take the opportunity to sponsor this new category, especially as our Polyfoam Roofboard material is widely used for the thermal insulation of inverted and green roofs.”
The LRWA Awards and Gala Dinner 2018 will take place on November 7 at the Titanic hotel in Liverpool’s Stanley Dock. More than 200 guests are expected to attend to celebrate the outstanding workmanship and technical excellence across what is said to be the fastest growing sector in the flat roofing market.
The other categories include Liquid Roofing Project of the Year over 1000m2’, ‘Liquid Roofing Project of the Year under 1000m2’, ‘Liquid Waterproofing Project of the Year Award’, ‘Trainer of the Year’, ‘Student of the Year’ and recognition for an individual or company that has made a special contribution to the liquid roofing and waterproofing industry.
