ROCKWOOL, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of stone wool insulation, has become the latest supplier member of the Builders Merchants Federation (BMF).
The BMF says ROCKWOOL’s Thermal & Sound product range, developed specifically for the merchant customer, provides solutions that address today’s thermal regulations as well as the growing challenge of noise pollution and often poor acoustics that can impact on homes and environment.
To support its stockist partners ROCKWOOL has developed a support platform including a team of demonstrators attending merchant trade days and training sessions.
The company also offers support in identifying the right stocking profile, provides launch support, collateral and PoS, sales promotions, marketing and technical guidance as well as a service and logistics package that meets the needs of its stockists.
Ed Peltor, commercial director for ROCKWOOL, said: “We are very excited to be rejoining the BMF and fully expect that we will maximise the opportunities presented by membership as well as contributing to the overall health and wealth of the BMF and the sector.”
Welcoming ROCKWOOL into membership, John Newcomb, managing director of the BMF, said: “We are delighted that ROCKWOOL has returned to the BMF and already has plans to utilise their membership to the full. I am looking forward to working with Ed and other members of the team in the coming months.”
