SIG Roofing has announced that it has begun re-opening 20 of its branches and hubs following the closure of all but two of its hubs on March 30, amid the COVID-19 crisis.
In a statement on SIG Roofing’s website, Ashley Chivers, sales director of SIG UK exteriors, said: “We have reviewed and enhanced our operating guidelines in line with best practice, and have taken the decision to trial re-opening strategically located hubs and branches so that we can help customers complete projects and carry on trading.”
The statement says the roofing materials supplier has been working closely within government guidance as it develops during the crisis, and following an increase in the “number of requests for assistance from customers,” the decision has been taken to open 20 branches and hubs “which provide complete coverage for deliveries and enquiries across England and Wales, with local collections available from the 20 branches within safety guidelines.”
