In celebration of SIGA Slate’s 10th anniversary, and to raise the profile of its natural roofing slate, SIGA has unveiled a dedicated Twitter campaign – #loveSIGAslate – via it’s new account, @SIGASlate. The campaign offers followers the opportunity to win a trip to Spain, together with runner-up prizes of a 16GB iPad and œ50 Capital Bonds vouchers.
Set to run throughout January 2015, followers of the new Twitter account can win a three day trip for two to Spain, including an organised visit to a SIGA slate quarry, by tweeting images of their SIGA slate installations. Captioned with the name of the slate and location of the project, followers have multiple opportunities to enter, with winners to be judged by a senior member of the SIGA management team.
Ben Saunders, marketing manager – customer proposition at SIG UK Exteriors, said:
“What better way to honour SIGA’s 10th anniversary than to launch our very own #loveSIGAslate campaign? Everyone’s a winner as not only do new and existing followers of @SIGASlate get a chance to scoop a trip to Spain visiting one of our very own SIGA quarries, all images will be retweeted for added publicity.
“As well as the competition, @SIGASlate will serve as a hub of knowledge throughout the campaign period, dispensing information, facts, tips and advice relating to SIGA and natural slate.”
First launched in 2004, over 13 million SIGA slates are sold each year across the UK from a range largely sourced directly from the quarries across the world, including Spain, Wales, Brazil, China and Canada. The brand says it works closely with producers to supply slate that not only meets performance criteria, but aesthetic and budget requirements too.
