Specifiers across the country are invited to learn about IKO’s range of roofing and waterproofing systems on March 1 and 8 at Cardiff Principality Stadium and Exeter Racecourse respectively.
Specifiers will have the opportunity to understand when, where and how different roofing and waterproofing systems are best used, while earning RIBA and RICS CPD points. At Cardiff, specifiers will be able to tour the ‘world-famous’ stadium, and have the chance to win rugby tickets.
IKO’s technical engineers and experts will present solutions to common issues with roofing and waterproofing for newbuild and refurbishment projects, using case studies and looking at recent legislation and guidelines such as the National Federation of Roofing Contractor’s Safe2Torch.
Ashley Chivers, IKO’s roofing specification sales director, said: “Specifiers need to have a lot of knowledge on individual products to do their jobs effectively, but it can be difficult to fit self-driven research into their busy work schedules.
“These events are tailored for specifiers to spend the day learning about IKO UPXL, a premium bituminous flat roofing system with a 30-year guarantee, and IKO Polimar FCS, a high-performance, solvent-free waterproofing system for roofs, car parks and balconies/ walkways.”
The events will run from 9:30–15:30. Breakfast and lunch will be provided. To book your place or for more information, visit www.ikogroup.co.uk/iko-specification-seminars.
