The fifth Single Ply Roofing Association (SPRA) Conference and Awards Dinner was held on June 13, at Heythrop Park Resort in Oxfordshire. The theme of the conference this year was ‘What’s the Risk?’ and the conference speakers delivered presentations on a wide range of topics including training, mental health and technical. The keynote speech was delivered by David Smith, economist editor of the Sunday Times with the theme ‘So what happens now?’, where he discussed Brexit and the current political situation, giving his outlook on how Britain and the economy would look.
