SR Timber moves to new HQ

SR Timber has moved into new, larger premises in North Nottinghamshire as part of ambitious growth plans.

The company had previously shared offices with a sister company in Derby, but says the move to its own premises in Huthwaite heralds the next phase of its growth plans.

Trading director Shaun Revill said the team at SR Timber are all excited about the move to a new head office because the company has more room, more facilities and more scope as it plans the next steps, which are focused on increasing market share in its existing product sectors, as well as carving new niches for itself with new products.

He commented: “The move to new premises marks the start of another exciting chapter for SR Timber in a story that is all the more remarkable as the business was only founded a little over 10 years ago.

“There is genuine excitement amongst the team over the move, and we have all taken a few moments to savour the feeling because it highlights just how far this business has come in such a short space of time.”

SR Timber says the cornerstone of its growth has been the fact that it has been at the forefront of raising standards on the quality, performance and durability of timber roofing batten – best exemplified with the introduction of BS5534, the recent new regulations on roofing.
