The SkillBuild 2026 regional qualifying heats for roofing started at the end of March and finished early June. Apprentices across the country came together to compete at six different colleges. Heat winners will be attending the SkillBuild UK national final in November at the Stadium in Milton Keynes.
Shaun Revill, trading director of SR Timber, said: “We have donated our graded roofing batten to the SkillBuild event over many years. We understand the importance of supporting these apprentices and appreciate the role that building and roofing colleges play in nurturing talent across the industry.
“We wish the competitors all the best and to all winners of the heats in the Roof Slating and Tiling Category best of luck for the final. We will be following the rounds and look forward to attending the finals in November.”
