Which? Trusted Traders has partnered with the Insulation Assurance Authority (IAA) to help businesses in the sector stand out from competitors as well as ensure that consumers find the appropriate, accredited trader when it comes to home improvements.
The partnership will enable members of the IAA with 39 employees or less to apply to join Which? Trusted Traders, where they will receive 50% off their membership fees for the first six months.
Nigel Donohue, CEO of the IAA, said: “The IAA is delighted to be working with Which? Trusted Traders as it further demonstrates the commitment to quality and the exacting standards of our membership.
“Being associated with Which? Trusted Traders provides an additional level of confidence to consumers, sign-posting that the traders who work with the IAA under the Trusted Trader scheme operate to the highest standards and best working practices.”
Raj Kakar-Clayton, managing director at Which? Trusted Traders, added: “We are thrilled to be working with the IAA to help consumers recognise trustworthy traders in the insulation industry.
“Insulating our homes has become a priority for an increasing number of us as energy prices increase and we look for ways of reducing our carbon footprint. Consumers are turning to Which? for advice on the best ways to reduce their energy use and to help them find expert, trustworthy contractors to help them.”
