Neil Holloway, founder and managing director of Wilson Brook Consulting, discusses the origins of his firm and how it operates differently to much of the recruitment industry.
I founded Wilson Brook in December 2018, having started in recruitment back in 2000. Why? Because I had a vision as to how executive search should be done.
Realising, unlike much of the recruitment industry, that the responsibility of helping people’s careers (and by extension their families) along with ensuring companies could recruit the best, should be done in the most thorough, professional, honest & fair way possible. Not a dash for cash, mud on the wall, cutting corners, KPI focused, uncaring approach that others seemed fixated on. I am passionate about delivering an exceptional service to our customers, both companies and individuals alike.
I believe that our process is unbeatable whilst our commercial proposition is unique.
- Confidential proactive search (head-hunting)
- Proven method of approach
- Regular and clear communication
- Defined process
- In-depth research
- Cultural & personality match
- Exceptional candidate management
- The Wilson Brook triple guarantee – In the unlikely event that things don’t work out there’s a 12-month free replacement guarantee on all assignments. 2. If we can’t deliver you a shortlist that you’re happy to proceed with then we’ll either re-shortlist at no extra cost or you can have your initial retainer refunded in full with no further fees to pay. 3. We never re-approach placed candidates. Above and beyond that your organisation is completely off-limits for a period of 2 years from the most recent invoice. We do not take people out of our client companies
- Fair & transparent commercial agreement – Fixed fees calculated on the basic salary only, not total package. No conflict of interest when it comes to negotiating the chosen candidate’s salary. No more nasty surprises when you receive the final invoice!
