Insulation and interior building products distributor CCF has announced the appointment of Chris O’Kane, who has joined the company’s technical team to meet increased contractor, specifier and developer demand for technical services.

Bringing 28 years experience to the role, Chris specialises in insulation and will be supporting CCF’s national commercial and residential building clients to make compliant and cost-effective product decisions.

Chris joins CCF from Knauf Insulation where he worked as a project specification manager. Prior to this, Chris spent over 15 years in technical specification roles.

Commenting on his appointment, Chris said: “It is great to be a part of the CCF technical team, and to have the amazing CCF product portfolio to work with when supporting the construction of a diverse array of projects, from high-rise commercial buildings, to residential developments.

“I will be advising a variety of contractors, developers, specifiers and designers to ensure all projects can meet the expected performance and building regulation criteria with the help of CCF.”
