Encon Insulation has added to its industrial / HVAC division for the second time in as many months with the recruitment of Mary Carthy.
Two months after appointing Steve Moorhouse as the new business development manager for Yorkshire and North West, the company has welcomed Ms. Carthy as industrial manager for the West Midlands, working out of Encon’s Birmingham branch.
Mary brings 27 years of experience in the insulation sector to her role at Encon, having begun her career at Kitsons Insulation as a stock controller before becoming office manager. She was then approached to start up an independent business in Birmingham – MC Insulations – which she built up over a 12-year period before merging with four other independents to become GRM.
Ms. Carthy said: “I have joined Encon for what I hope will be the last journey in my insulation career. I am sure with the experience I have gained and the continuing loyalty of my customers we can help to make Encon Birmingham an even more serious contender in the industrial market place.”
