Longworth Building Envelope Solutions has announced the new appointment of Stephen Barnett and Karl Smith into its board of directors.
The new positions come as part of the company’s five-year expansion plan which will allow it to continue delivering its turnkey service of design, installation and project management as an envelope contractor.
Stephen Barnett, who has been with Longworth for 12 years, will be taking up the position of procurement and planning director, designed to ensure that the connection between the company’s supply chain and its clients is as seamless and efficient as possible.
Paul Smith, managing director at Longworth says that Stephen has “a wealth of experience in building envelopment commercial management’ and it is “with great pleasure that he is adopting the new role.”
The appointment of Karl Smith as the company’s new commercial director comes with the aim of ensuring that its clients receive the optimum value for money at every opportunity.
Mr Smith says that Karl is a very qualified and experienced quantity surveyor, who always adopts a client-led focus towards the commercial management of our projects.
