Formica Group has appointed Iain Lennard vice president of European sales as part a new sales structure introduced in response to economic recovery and the consequent growth of the market.
The company says Mr. Lennard brings with him extensive business experience having worked at director level in large multi-national organisations for the past twelve years.
Commenting on his appointment, Mr. Lennard said: “I am really excited to join the company and be able to bring the brand back to its iconic status in the laminate market.”
The new structure is intended to allow the sales team to deliver a different experience and to find comprehensive solutions that will help Formica Group’s customers be more successful.
Mr. Lennard added: “I believe in building a culture of accountability and performance ownership for my team in order to deliver results even in challenging and competitive environments. Our new model enables us to build stronger and more efficient partnerships as our staff is available to directly respond to particular customer’s needs.”
Formica Group says it is also reaffirming its focus on specification by doubling its resources in the UK.
Mr. Lennard continued: “We see the greatest potential for developing mutually beneficial relationships in the UK and, by investing in people and means, we are able to create focused conversations between customers and Formica Group which will result in more profitable sales for both parties in the short and long term.”
