Reynaers Aluminium appoints two new directors

Reynaers Aluminium has further strengthened its sales and marketing team with the addition of two new senior figures.

New marketing director, Tina Hughan, brings over 20 years of diverse marketing experience to the role. Most recently, she spent 12 years at security solutions provider ASSA ABLOY, where she was responsible for marketing strategy, planning and implementation across five business units.

In her new role, Tina will oversee all of Reynaers’ UK marketing activity, including strategy, product management and communications.

“Having spent the past 12 years looking after such a broad range of products, it’s incredibly exciting to be taking on the completely new challenge of focusing on a more consolidated portfolio,” Tina explains.

“Joining the business during such an ambitious period opens up a wealth of opportunities for innovation and for further strengthening our marketing offering. I’m looking forward to working with my team to continue delivering Reynaers’ bold, transformational agenda and ensuring that our customers remain at the very heart of everything we do.”

Meanwhile, new sales director, Paul Reid, brings 15 years’ experience in the building materials industry, including senior roles at Celotex and Knauf Insulation. Most recently, he headed up his own sales, management and business development consultancy, following four years as group sales director at Era Total Security. In his new role, Paul is responsible for further growing Reynaers’ UK market share, and supporting the company in continuing to meet the diverse needs of its customer base.

Commenting on his role, Paul said: “Reynaers is well-known across the industry for its versatile product range and technical excellence, and has an enviable reputation in the marketplace. I’m absolutely thrilled to have joined such a highly regarded company and I look forward to applying my experience to help the business achieve its ambitious targets.”

Reynaers is currently going from strength to strength, having embarked upon an impressive growth programme that has seen the company double its number of employees and turnover in the last decade.

Richard Hall, UK managing director at Reynaers, said: “I’m delighted to welcome Tina and Paul to the team, both of whom bring considerable expertise and industry knowledge to their new roles. I look forward to working with them to help drive the business forward in 2020 and beyond.”
