Sahtas UK has appointed Ozan Taylan as its new UK operations manager.
Ozan brings with him a wealth of experience in project planning, purchasing, logistics, IT systems and SAP projects to the role.
Commenting on his new position, Ozan said: “I’m excited to be a part of this great organisation. It is a challenging time, but I’m confident that we are well prepared to take on this challenge.”
Steven Blewitt, UK director of Sahtas UK, added: “We are absolutely delighted to welcome Ozan to our company. For some time we have been planning strategic changes to the business to improve our operational capabilities.
“Ozan will be implementing systems which will streamline our logistics and will be heading up an IT project to directly link our production and sales operations.”
As well as keeping a focus on roof tile and brick sales and distribution, Sahtas will be expanding its portfolio of genuine hand made products with ranges including cover tiles, pavers, floor tiles and glazed ceramics – all sourced from the company’s two factories in the Izmir region of Western Turkey.
