CCF has appointed three long-serving team members to the new role of regional operations manager, where they will use over 42 years of combined experience to achieve high standards of service and operational ‘know how’ across the regions.

The three managers – Mark Hooman, Andrew Patten, and Gareth Thomason – are now in place to support the CCF regional directors and work closely with branch managers. The teams’ main objectives are to keep health and safety a priority at every location and support the operational performance of the business as a whole. They will also assist with recruitment and training, whilst ensuring system processes and stock management remain consistent across the company.

Howard Luft, managing director of CCF, said: “We’ve invested in these new roles to create a nationwide resource that’s dedicated to proactively improving service standards and efficiency. Whilst this move prioritises elements that are valuable to our customers, such as service and safety, the team will also be supporting branch managers so they have time to focus on what they do best; building relationships with our customers.”

Mark Hooman is now covering the North region after more than 20 years with the company. He started his career as an administration and sales trainee and held a number of sales and managerial roles, including branch manager of CCF Kilbride and Edinburgh.

Andrew Patten manages the Midlands and South West region after ten years with CCF as Cardiff branch manager and a further nine years with Travis Perkins.

Gareth Thomason joined CCF 12 years ago as a management trainee and is now overseeing the South East region.
